In celebration of National Breastfeeding Month, NJBC is excited to announce that throughout August we will be collecting donations to support our NJBC Lactation Equity Scholarship fund to defray the cost of lactation certification and IBCLC exams for historically under-represented New Jersey residents (Latinx, Black, Asian, and Indigenous). Our goal is to reduce barriers to obtaining certification for historically underserved NJ candidates and support overall diversity in the lactation profession. NJBC previously awarded exam reimbursement scholarships to three people sitting for the Fall 2021 exam.
